This camshaft retainer plate is designed to fit behind the front cover and act as a seal for the front oil passages that feed oil to the lifters, cam, and main bearings. It features a specially designed O-ring seal to keep oil sealed in. This plate support greater cam loads experienced from higher rpm applications, more aggressive cam profiles and valve springs.
