Losses from going to low carb configuration is hard to put a figure on. We've seen up to 20HP drop in some cases and none in others, it's similar to adding or removing a 1" spacer, works on some engines but not on all. At least someone who chooses a low carb manifold can always fit a 1" open spacer to bring it back to original height and plenum size.

Working closely with some of the worlds finest engine builders has enabled us to design and manufacture manifolds that have the best horsepower and torque curves on the market today. This has been achieved through countless hours of testing and modifying a variety of different manifolds, which has helped us come up with a formula for optimising cross sectional area - velocity, and fuel atomisation characteristics. Testimony to the effectiveness of our manifolds is our wins at the Engine Masters Competition. After testing many manifolds Jon Kaase used our 4500 3V manifold to produce the astounding numbers of 620ft/lb and 700hp from his pump gas 410cube Cleveland. Even more impressive was the fact that the manifold was run as cast and with no internal hand grinding whatsoever! Manifolds are available to suit our 185cc, 208cc and 225cc Cleveland cylinder heads on 9.2”deck Cleveland and Windsor blocks, 9.5” Deck 351 Windsor blocks (Windsor conversions, will require the use of our CHI water crossover - bypass housing) and we also have a 8.2” deck 302 Windsor manifold to suit our 185cc & 208cc cylinder heads on 302 Windsor blocks.
