Clevite Cam Guard
Clevite cam guards is specially formulated with an improved Extreme Pressure (EP) rating to provide lubrication for internal engine components during assembly, and the first critical moments of operation after engine start-up.
Clevite Cam Guard should be used when installing cams. This sticky material is used to coat and protect wear surfaces during installation to prevent scoring or galling during initial engine start up. Improves break-in of camshafts & lifters. Apply generously on camshafts and lifters during assembly to help keep your newly built engine safe.
