PTFE vs. ELASTOMER

As the vast array of industries have become more demanding with higher temperatures, caustic environments, and higher pressures, the standard elastomeric seal can no longer offer the life expectancy needed for companies to remain competitive. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) offers the opportunity to run at higher RPMs, higher and lower temperatures, and much higher pressures than an elastomeric seal.

LONG LASTING PERFORMANCE

TRITEC’s proprietary blend of carbon-reinforced, bearing- grade polymer eliminates performance losses due to gear degradation and wear and outlasts and outperforms brass or aluminium-bronze gears.

Unlike cast iron or hardened steel gears that can be aggressive on the cams, TRITEC distributor gears produce gear teeth damping factors resulting in superior gear meshing and balancing the gear backlash factor.

With no break-in period required for extended gear life, this ultra-lightweight solution is the right choice for lasting performance.
